Chapter 258 Formidable Battles To War
Three formidable monsters, seething with anger and thirsting for blood, stood ready to do battle against a single, unwavering brute force minion. The fight was intense, with the minions using every ounce of strength in their bodies to withstand the initial onslaught of their enemies. The minions swung their mallets and swords with ferocity, trying to gain the upper hand, but eventually, the relentless enemy overpowered them. The brute force minion was no match for the three monsters, who took no mercy and ruthlessly ended its life with their sharp claws and sharp teeth.
However, just as all hope seemed lost, the second stage minions arrived on the battlefield, wielding their mallets and ready to fight. The battle intensified, with each of the minions using their weapons to bring down as many enemies as they could. Despite their bravery, the minions were ultimately outnumbered, and one by one, they fell to the ground, defeated.
The second stage brute force minions were a formidable force, their strength and power unmatched. They were a sight to behold, their muscles rippling with each swing of their mallets. However, their numbers were not enough to withstand the enemy\'s assault. As one of the minions explained, "If we can equalize the numbers, we can win. They may look scary, but in reality, their warriors are just cavemen who don\'t even know how to use a sword. They fight with primitive weapons and can be easily defeated with superior numbers."
I stood there, watching the battle unfold before me, my mind racing with thoughts about what I could do to turn the tide. I had sent six minions into battle, but only four had returned. I asked them what had happened to the other two. The minions explained that they had been sent to spy on the enemy, keeping watch and reporting any movements. I was pleased with the performance of my minions, but I knew that I needed to do more if I wanted to win the war that was coming.
I needed to think about the size and composition of my army, and how I could use my minions\' strengths to my advantage. I realized that the enemy was not attacking me directly, but instead attacking my other settlements. This gave me an opportunity to regroup and prepare for the impending battle. I knew that I needed to act quickly, gathering all the information I could and forming a strategy that would give me the upper hand. The fate of my kingdom rested in my hands, and I was determined to emerge victorious.
The enemy is acutely aware of my strength as a king and the formidable resistance I would put up if they were to launch a direct attack against me. Rather than facing me head-on, they have decided to take a more covert approach, seeking to diminish my resolve and quash any hope I may have. Their attempts to intimidate me are in vain, for each attack only serves to make me stronger and more determined.
It is possible that Ollie has ceased using his information system, as the enemy may have grown overconfident in their perceived invincibility. I have the capability to produce a formidable army, having created 1,000 minions in just a single day. Despite this, I have only deployed 200 for sacrifice, leading the enemy to believe that my forces are small in number. However, by the time they launch their attack, I will have mustered a substantial army capable of easily defeating them.
"Tell me, how large is their army? How many warriors do they have at their disposal?" I asked my minions.
"My lord," they replied, "their army is believed to consist of around 7,000 warriors, each one as powerful as a brute force minion."
Their army is guided by a king of unparalleled strength, who serves as their greatest asset. If I can strike fear into the heart of their king, the army will surely follow. With this in mind, I must devise a strategy that will allow me to defeat them and claim victory in this long and grueling battle.
I have 3,000 warriors at my disposal, though not all are available in this city, and fewer still are capable of withstanding the sheer might of the enemy army. At present, I have only 1,000 warriors ready for battle. To prepare for the coming conflict, I must create an additional 5,000 brute force minions, as well as an additional 500 of the more advanced stage 2 variety. Furthermore, I will need to recruit more archers to operate the ballista, and intelligence variants to operate the catapult. This battle will require a diverse array of warriors, each with their own unique strengths and abilities.
Before finalizing my battle strategy, there is one last question I must ask my minions. I am determined to emerge victorious, no matter the cost.
I must carefully devise a strategy that takes into account the formidable abilities and the relentless approach of the enemy in this war. While I am often able to take calculated risks in a typical battle, this conflict is far from typical. The enemy is the cream of the crop, the undisputed leaders in this world. As the underdog, I must be at my absolute best to have any hope of victory in this arduous battle.
"So, reveal to me the enemy\'s method of attack," the leader implored. "You have witnessed their tactics and have knowledge of their formation and style. Give me a detailed account of their formation and the whereabouts of their kings."
The minion replied, "My lord, they wage war with the ferocity of cavemen. Their army is a chaotic horde that lacks any cohesive formation; they attack from all directions with a single-minded objective of destroying their enemy. However, the kings remain cautiously behind. They follow the army in their grand chariots, guarded by their most elite and cunning warriors. Infiltrating the army and reaching the kings is a formidable task."
"What if we launch a surprise attack from behind?" the leader proposed. "If I send a detachment of warrior minions to ambush from behind, it will divert the attention of the enemy army, allowing us to unleash the full might of our forces. The enemy will be thrown off balance, scrambling to defend their kings."
The minion replied, "Yes, I believe this could be a viable plan. It could be the key to tipping the scales in our favor."
