Chapter 254 - Why Do You Trust Me?
Anya looked as if she didn't hear Raisa's words. In her eyes, Raisa was just a rich, spoiled girl so that her behavior was not as cute as her face.
Anya was not Raisa's family. She was neither her sister nor her parents. There was no point in getting into an argument with someone she wasn't even related to. It would only tire her even more and made her mood worse.
Her feet took a leisurely stride towards Esther's office, pretending not to hear Raisa's scream.
Meanwhile, Raisa felt so angry and wanted to go upstairs to catch Anya, but Mila stopped her right away.
"Miss, please wait in the living room. Don't make our business affected by the commotion you caused," Mila pulled Raisa's hand with a little force. Several other employees also helped her to bring Raisa to the living room.
"What are you doing? Let me go!"
"Miss, it's still working hours. According to mall regulations, if you make a fuss in our shop, we can call a security guard to kick you out. Please wait a moment. Anya will come down and meet you when she is done," Mila said calmly.
At that time, someone brought a pot of rose tea and a cup, "Miss, please have a tea,"
"I don't want to drink. I'm really angry," Raisa shouted.
"Miss, Iris belongs to Mr. Aiden Atmajaya. If you make a fuss here, it would be the same as looking for trouble with Mr. Aiden," Mila said while pouring tea for Raisa. "Please wait a moment. I'll go back to work,"
Raisa didn't expect that she would be dragged to Iris' guest's room like this.
When she went to the Atmajaya Group company, she waited for Aiden for a very long time. Once she met Aiden, she didn't even have time to explain anything and was kicked out by him.
Now, she went to meet Anya. But Anya told her to wait some more.
How could she not feel angry?
After waiting for five minutes, Raisa got up and went to the door. She just realized that the door to the room was locked from the outside.
They dared to lock her in that room from outside! This was confinement!
"Open the door! Open the door!" Raisa was banging on the door while shouting loudly.
"What's the matter, miss?" Mila asked anxiously from outside.
"All of you will die! How dare you lock me up in this room? How dare you!" Raisa really went berserk.
"Miss, there seems to be a misunderstanding. This door can only be locked from the inside," Mila said.
Raisa felt confused. She tried to open the doorknob one more time, but the door still wouldn't open.
Anya was checking the order with Esther and discussing ideas for the launch of her new perfume. When she finished, she went downstairs and saw several people crowded around the guest's room door.
"What's the problem?" Anya asked curiously.
"Miss Raisa locked herself in the room and couldn't get out," Mila frowned.
Meanwhile, Raisa was still banging on the door from inside in fear. She sounded like she was crying.
"Raisa, don't be afraid. I will find someone who can open this door," Anya tried to calm Raisa and asked Mila to contact the mall management to help them break down the door.
After receiving a call from Iris, the mall management immediately sent someone to help with some equipment.
In less than ten minutes, the door that locked itself finally managed to open. When she left the room, Raisa saw Anya and burst into tears. "Anya, you are really bad. I'm going to report this to my mom. I will complain to my brother and say that you are bullying me on purpose,"
Anya took a tissue and helped Raisa wipe the tears on her face, completely ignoring Raisa's threats. "Don't cry. You'll ruin your makeup,"
"You must be doing this to me on purpose!" Raisa said.
When she heard something happening on the first floor, Esther hurried downstairs. She felt very worried when she heard Raisa Mahendra was locked in the guest's room in her shop. "Miss Raisa, are you okay? Would you like to rest in my office for a while?"
"Are you guys deliberately making that door can't open anymore? You guys locked me in that room on purpose, right? You all are bullies. Aiden bullied me and Anya bullied me too," Raisa was crying uncontrollably.
When she saw Raisa really scared and upset, Anya didn't know whether to cry or laugh.
Raisa was indeed very spoiled so that her personality became a little bad. But she was an innocent and simple girl. Actually, her heart was not that bad.
"Don't cry. I will burn this door that dares to lock you," Anya said carelessly.
"You are mean! You did all this to me! I will destroy this door right now!" Raisa said, crying.
"Yes, yes. You can destroy the door. But don't take the door home. It's tantamount to robbing me," Anya coaxed with a smile.
Like a child who was comforted after being scared, Raisa smiled while still crying.
"There, now, stop crying. Let's talk," Anya invited Raisa to the office on the second floor.
Seeing that the situation had improved, Esther immediately let out a sigh of relief. "You guys talk. I will go out," After she left, only Anya and Raisa were in the office.
Raisa had been to this office before, but she never saw the perfume room behind the glass wall.
Today was the first time she had seen the room so she couldn't help asking questions. "Do you usually work here?"
"This is Mrs. Esther's perfume room. I can also use it," Anya replied. "You came to discuss something with me, right?"
Raisa immediately turned around and said, "Anya, I didn't like you from the first time we met. But I'm not the one who schemes evil behind other people's back,"
"I explained to Aiden that you are not that kind of person. But someone is trying to slander you. Don't you suspect anyone?" Anya asked. "Have you ever left your sunglasses somewhere or lent them to someone?"
"I do not understand what you mean. I really didn't do it," Raisa answered.
Anya realized that there was no point in giving Raisa a clue. Raisa was an innocent girl so she had to explain it directly. "I know it wasn't you who did it, but the person who did all this was wearing limited edition sunglasses. In the entire city, there is only one person who has it and that is you. This woman deliberately wants to blame you for what she did,"
"You mean someone took my glasses and did something bad that made you suspect me?" Raisa finally understood.
"Right. Did you lend the glasses to someone?" Anya aked once again.
"How could my friend borrow my sunglasses just to trap me? Even though the sunglasses are limited edition, aren't there lots of imitation items that look alike? There's no way my friend could do this to me!" Raisa said firmly.
"Even if it's a limited edition, it's not the best-selling model in the market. People prefer to plagiarize items that many people buy, not just because of the limited edition. I'm sure the glasses are real. Think again. who did you lend the glasses to?" Anya asked while observing Raisa's face, trying to find out if Raisa was lying to her.
Raisa shook her head. "I don't know who is looking for trouble with you. Why are you asking me all this? Aren't you afraid that I'll trick you?"
"I know you don't like me, but I also know your nature. You wouldn't do something that bad. Like it was three years ago, someone took the check from me and spent the money. I believe you didn't do it," Anya deliberately mentioned the problem three years ago.
Raisa was stunned for a moment, "I... Why do you believe in me?"
