Chapter 124 - Giving Place
"Why don't you ask about Keara?" Aiden was sure Anya also heard the part when he talked about Keara. He felt that there was a misunderstanding that Anya did not question him anything about Keara.
Why didn't Anya ask him about Keara? Because Anya didn't want to hear that name come out of Aiden's mouth. She didn't want to hear those hurtful words straight from Aiden's mouth. She better keep quiet.
"I'll pretend I didn't hear it. If Keara returns, I can give her my current place. I will not disturb you." As she said it, Anya's voice trembled a little. She looked away from Aiden, not wanting to look into the man's eyes.
Aiden's eyes became deep and sharp when he heard that. His hand lifted, holding Anya's chin so that his wife would look at him. Maybe because of the resentment he felt, his hands unconsciously exerted a little force.
"It hurts..." Anya's eyes turned red.
Aiden immediately loosened his grip. However, he didn't let go of her still. He lowered his head and kissed Anya's lips fiercely. His lips felt angry, brushed Anya's lips slightly harshly, making her tremble with nervousness. Aiden pushed Anya's body and cornered her towards the door.
Anya was scared when she found out that Aiden was angry. Even if not a single word came out of Aiden's lips, she could still feel the man's anger.
Why was Aiden angry?
She just did what Aiden wanted. She heard clearly, Aiden told Harris that she must return to her real place when Keara returned.
She had said she was willing to do it, but why was Aiden even angry?
Aiden's breathing grew heavier. His body continued to draw near, pressing Anya's body against the door behind her. Anya could feel Aiden's body touching hers, hot, as if his anger was channeling through his body.
The man locked Anya in his arms, as if he didn't want her to go anywhere.
"You want to give your place to another woman? Do you not respect your position as my wife?" Aiden frowned deeply and asked angrily.
Anya could only close her lips tightly and did not say anything. She stared at Aiden silently, hiding all the sadness, heartache and helplessness that was in her heart.
Aiden loved Keara. Even though Keara was Ivan's fiancé, she had sacrificed herself to save Aiden. Wasn't the relationship between them very clear?
Now, the woman he thought was dead was still alive. How could Anya possibly keep her place as Aiden's wife?
She was just a substitute for a woman who was thought to have died. However, if the real woman was still alive and coming back soon, of course she would have to leave.
Anya had no right to claim life together with Aiden. She had no right to demand Aiden not to divorce her. She was nobody, nothing.
Before Aiden kicked her out of this house, throwing her away, she better said that she would back off. She would make way for Keara…
Aiden had done a lot for her up until now. He protected her, supported her and always helped her in times of trouble. This time, Anya wanted to do something for him, that was by giving Aiden the freedom to live together with the woman he loved…
"Giving up Mrs. Atmajaya's position so that Keara and I can unite. Do you think you are great? Should I thank you?" Aiden's voice sounded cynical as he made that statement.
Anya's face immediately turned pale and her body trembled. Aiden knew what she was thinking.
The man felt even more angry as he could read the answer in Anya's face. His hand that was holding Anya's chin again increased his strength, making Anya feel in pain. However, Anya's heart ached a lot more. She closed her eyes and accepted all this treatment.
Seeing his wife acting like that, Aiden tried to hold back his emotions. He looked deeply at Anya and forced her to do the same.
"When you married me, I promised you that you can do anything. But there will never be divorce. Unless I don't want you anymore, you will be with me until you die." Anger could not be hidden from Aiden's face.
Anya's lips twitched slightly. For a moment, she didn't know how to respond to Aiden. She just did what Aiden wanted. She did all this so that Aiden could be with the woman he loved. Did Aiden want her dead? So that he didn't bother him together with Keara?
The misunderstanding in Anya's brain intensified as she thought frantically, "I don't want to die. Why do I have to die? Can't you divorce me if you want to get back together with Keara?" Anya's voice was trembling a little.
Aiden was stunned to hear Anya's answer. He just shook his head in annoyance. Why did Anya even think like that? Why couldn't Anya understand what he meant?
"I really want to come in and see what's inside your head." He said irritably.
Aiden didn't need anyone else to determine who he loved. However, Anya seemed to be trying hard to match him with Keara so that she was willing to give up her position as Mrs. Atmajaya to Keara.
Anya didn't understand what she felt in her heart. Just like Aiden couldn't understand what Anya was thinking.
The frustration made her bow her head again and bite her lips hard. Anya could only bear the pain without saying anything.
Aiden was really frustrated. He loved Anya with all his heart and he was angry that Anya didn't trust herself and him.
Aiden never once said that he wanted a divorce from Anya. Even if Keara came back, it had nothing to do with him.
However, it seemed like Anya was determined that she would make way for Keara to be with Aiden. And after that, she could get back together with Raka after not having any relationship with Aiden.
When thinking about Anya and Raka's relationship, Aiden felt even more angry. This time, the flames of jealousy seemed to devour his senses.
Aiden held Anya's face and kissed her fiercely, like a hurricane moving fast. Anya didn't have time to think. The pain from Aiden's bite was still there, but this kiss was different.
She could feel the frustration inside, but there was dominance and tenderness hidden behind it, making Anya unable to fight back.
Aiden held the back of Anya's head with one hand, protecting her from hitting the door behind her as kiss after kiss struck her lips. His other hand was tightly wrapped around Anya's waist, giving no chance for her to escape.
Anya felt confused. She could feel the anger in Aiden's kisses. As she was about to push the man away, Aiden's kiss deepened.
Anya's face flushed under Aiden's attack. She couldn't do anything so she could only accept the kiss with resignation.
Seeing that Anya was no longer fighting him, Aiden's kiss, which was originally filled with anger, grew gentler over time.
Anya could feel her thoughts floating. Her feet felt like jelly, unable to support her until she almost fell.
Aiden's big hands grabbed Anya's waist and balanced her body. His other hand held Anya's hand gently, bringing the tiny hand to hold onto his neck.
His lips were still caressing Anya's, this time at a gentler pace. As Anya started to run out of breath, Aiden released his lips reluctantly. Anya could only lean weakly against Aiden's body.
She leaned against Aiden's chest, gasping for breath, trying to catch her breath and calm herself. Her head was bowed shyly, not daring to stare at Aiden.
"Don't ever say that you will leave me and give your place to another woman." Aiden whispered.
