Chapter 380 - Keyra's Sadness
Keyra served the fried chicken onto a plate, then put the chili pepper she had made into a saucer, transferred the rice from the rice cooker to a special bowl for rice. She arranged the food on the dining table neatly and didn\'t forget to pour a glass of water there, because only Aaron would be eating.
Keyra breathed a sigh of relief because she had finished her task. Sometimes she massaged her stiff and sore shoulders, then walked towards the living room where Aaron was casually sitting on the couch with his feet on the table.
"Dinner is ready." Keyra sat down beside Aaron, but not as close as when they were dating. She kept a little distance from her husband for fear of getting harsh treatment again while her body was still in pain.
"Why are you even sitting here?" asked Aaron flatly.
"Because I don\'t want to eat," said Keyra.
Aaron got up and pulled Keyra to get up as well. "You have to be with me. You know that right? I married you too to make me less lonely, that means you always have to be by my side when I\'m home!"
"Aaron, don\'t grip me like this, my hand still hurts!" Keyra exclaimed while trying to release Aaron\'s grip which felt tight on her hand.
Instead of letting go, Aaron pulled Keyra into the dining room. Keyra was forced to follow in her husband\'s footsteps and groaned at him, she was annoyed, it felt like she just wanted to go but she was helpless because her husband\'s threats managed to make her unable to move.
"Never resist or disobey. I won\'t hesitate to torture you again," Aaron threatened.
Arriving in the dining room, Keyra pulled a chair and invited Aaron to sit down. After that, she started to get one portion of food on the plate. The woman served the warm casserole with a side dish of fried chicken with chili sauce in a small saucer on the side of the plate.
"I\'m not very good at cooking, but I hope you like this," said Keyra while handing a plate that already contained the food to Aaron.
Aaron didn\'t respond. He immediately took a spoon and fork, then immediately started eating the dish that Keyra had prepared.
Kyra sat in a chair opposite Aaron across from the dining table. She was silent while staring at her phone because she would be bored if she waited for her husband to eat by just keeping quiet.
Aaron stared hatefully at Keyra who was playing with her phone. He felt neglected and immediately threw the plate on the floor until it broke and the food was scattered.
"Aaron!" Keyra was shocked and looked at her husband in surprise. She glanced at the food she had worked so hard to cook, now strewn on the floor. "What are you doing? Is my cooking bad?"
"I ask you to accompany me, not just sit around and play with your phone as you think of me like a statue, because I hate being ignored the most!" explained Aaron angrily. He got up and looked hatefully at Keyra who was now also standing.
Keyra shook her head at Aaron with teary eyes. She didn\'t expect her husband to be so angry over such a trivial matter. "You can just say, there\'s no need to slam the plate so that everything is thrown away like this," she exclaimed.
Aaron didn\'t respond. His heart seemed to be sliced when she saw Keyra crying and disappointed with his attitude. On the other hand, he also holds a grudge that requires him to be harsh on his wife. The man quickly left the dining room.
Keyra wiped her tears roughly and put her phone on the dining table. She immediately took the plastic in the kitchen and cleaned the floor which was dirty with food that had only been eaten by Aaron. In tears she was cleaning the dirty floor, picking up broken plates. I\'m sorry, Keyra... I plan good future for you
\'Oh my God, why is it like this?\' her mind was in sobs.
___
Keenan and Jasmine walked towards the main door of Wildan\'s house. He kept his promise to take his wife to his mother to apologize and give good news. Sometimes the man glanced at his wife who looked irritated as he continued walking.
"Why?" asked Keenan.
"It\'s okay," Jasmine replied, bending her face.
Arriving at the door, Keenan immediately pressed the bell. Until he waited a few seconds, the door opened and he saw a middle-aged woman wearing a black dress limited to her calves, a gray sweater with her hair in a ponytail.
"Is Mrs. Nia there?" asked Keenan.
"Yes, sir...Please come in," the woman replied then stepped out of the door, allowing Keenan and Jasmine to come in immediately.
"Come on in," Keenan shouted as he embraced Jasmine from the side. he immediately invited his wife to walk into the living room where there was already Wildan who immediately greeted them.
"Jasmine, Keenan," said Wildan with a friendly smile.
"Dad, is mom at home?" Jasmine asked with a look of sadness on her face.
"Your mother has been in the room since earlier, she doesn\'t want to eat or drink. I don\'t know what the problem is, she doesn\'t want to tell me," explained Wildan angrily.
Jasmine felt even more guilty. "Let me see mommy because this is all my mistake," she cried.
"Yes, persuade her to eat, because he has a history of stomach acid disease," replied Wildan with a nod.
Jasmine turned to glance at Keenan who had been standing beside her. Keenan looked at her with a nod of his head, as if giving a code for her to immediately meet her mother.
"Meet mom, I\'ll wait here," Keenan shouted.
Jasmine nodded and immediately walked towards her mother\'s room bypassing the living room, then up the stairs. Keenan and Wildan waited in the living room while chatting and drinking tea made by the housekeeper.
___
Arriving in front of the room, Jasmine immediately opened the door that was not locked and saw her mother sitting on the head of the bed looking at something in her hand.
"Mom, I\'m so sorry," said Jasmine, who immediately rushed to hug her mother, crying.
For a moment Nia was surprised. She rubbed her daughter\'s back and said, "You\'re not wrong, son."
Jasmine let go of her mother\'s arms and looked at her sadly. "I\'ve gone too far to kick mommy out in front of many people, even though the fault is only mommy Marta mother," she said.
"It\'s okay, Sweetheart. I understand how you feel, you must be very embarrassed because your identity as a child of a former prostitute is known to them," Nia said while gently wiping Jasmine\'s tears. She looked at her daughter with teary eyes.
"I don\'t care about mom\'s past, because I love mommy. I\'m so sorry that I kicked mom out so rudely because at that time I was very dizzy," said Jasmine with her head down languidly.
"Why? Are you sick?" Nia immediately worried.
"No," said Jasmine, then took something out of the small bag she was still wearing.
"Hope you like it." Jasmine gave a small light brown envelope to Nia who didn\'t seem to understand what she would see in the small envelope.
Jasmine smiled in amusement as she glanced at her mother, who slowly opened the envelope. She seemed enthusiastic to see what her mother\'s expression would look like when she found out she was going to have a grandchild
