Chapter 336 Ayumi's situation
When they had entered the Sky Tower, Ayumi had said, "You just stay back and watch from afar. I want to train my strength on my own. Don\'t worry too much about me."
Elen had nodded in agreement at the time, though her heart was filled with doubt. Now, seeing Ayumi barely recovered, she asked with concern, "How are you feeling, Sis? Can you keep going, or should we stop here?"
Ayumi looked at Elen and firmly shook her head. "Yes, we\'ll stop for now," she replied. Although her wounds had healed, she knew her body still needed time to fully recover. Experience more content on empire
The 35th floor of the Sky Tower had already provided them with many valuable materials. Even so, Ayumi understood there was no point in pushing herself too hard. The tower wasn\'t going anywhere for the next few hours.
Elen let out a deep breath, relieved by Ayumi\'s decision. "Alright, Sis. Before we leave, we should gather all the dropped items."
Even though Elen had the power of a Grandmaster, strong enough to easily obliterate all the monsters on this floor, she chose to hold back. Ayumi wanted to fight with her own strength, and Elen respected that wish. For her, it wasn\'t right to constantly step in and help Ayumi every single time.
As they prepared to collect the remaining loot from the monsters\' corpses, Elen noticed movement in the distance. Several figures dressed in black military uniforms appeared at the end of the corridor. There were about twenty of them, moving in a precise formation.
These people were members of the Japanese Alliance military, tasked with securing the area and ensuring all loot was gathered. Since Ayumi and Elen had much higher abilities, they had advanced deeper into the floor, leaving the team behind.
It didn\'t take long for the military team to reach Elen and Ayumi\'s position. Upon seeing Ayumi\'s pale and fatigued appearance, concern immediately spread across their faces.
"Miss, what happened?" the captain asked with a tone of genuine care. He reached into his spatial ring and pulled out a potion bottle to offer to Ayumi.
But Ayumi simply raised her hand, declining the potion. "No need, I\'m already feeling better," she said firmly, glancing at the large corpse not far from them.
"We\'re leaving now. Gather the loot from the boss\'s corpse," she continued, pointing to the massive lifeless ghostly figure.
Without hesitation, the soldiers sprang into action. They spread out in all directions, collecting every valuable piece from the monster\'s remains that Ayumi and Elen had defeated.
The sound of their footsteps echoed through the corridors of the 35th floor, mingling with the clinking of weapons and the creak of their equipment.Nôv(el)B\\\\jnn
Meanwhile, Ayumi and Elen slowly made their way toward the glowing portal at the far end of the room. The portal emitted a soft light, offering two choices: leave the tower or proceed to the next floor. Ayumi\'s decision was firm. For today, they had gone far enough.

Inside the trunk of the Tree of Life, Lein stood calmly. Before him floated a blue holographic screen, its soft glow reflecting his face. A satisfied smile curved on his lips as his eyes scanned the numbers displayed on the screen.
[Protection Branch]
- Level: 100
- Defense Energy: 1,200 k
- Energy Regeneration: 1.4k/second
- Energy Reflection: 1.4k + 1%
- Feature: (Sky Satellite)
"Hahaha... finally, level 100," Lein said, his voice brimming with pride. He took a deep breath, as if savoring the moment. The status panel of the Protection Branch brought him indescribable relief.
"It wasn\'t a waste to spend over 8,000 natural crystals," he continued, recalling how much of his resources he had invested. His thoughts drifted to the other Guardians. If they knew about his achievement, Lein was certain they would be envious—perhaps even furious.
But a question lingered in his mind. "How do those Guardians manage to acquire so many natural crystals?" he muttered. If one branch required 8,000 natural crystals to reach level 100, then five branches would need 40,000. He suspected the other Guardians must have a secret method to gather such a vast amount.
Lein shifted his attention back to the screen. His gaze fell on the new feature that had appeared in the Protection Branch panel. The feature had technically been active since the branch reached level 11, but with each level increase, it had evolved, unlocking greater potential.
Curiosity welled up inside him as he decided to open the description of the latest feature: Sky Satellite. With a flick of his hand, Lein accessed the details of the feature.
Lein\'s eyes widened slightly as he read the feature\'s description. The Sky Satellite now boasted incredible capabilities: an automated satellite orbiting the Guardian\'s realm, designed to protect against enemy attacks while conducting surveillance and reconnaissance.
(Sky Satellite) An automatic satellite orbits the Guardian\'s realm, aiding in realm protection from enemy attacks and conducting surveillance and reconnaissance.
- Power: Basic Destroyer
- Range: 250,000 km
- Durability: Middle
- Crystal Consumption: 10 high-tier crystals/day
- Modes: (Surveillance) (Combat) (Stealth)
"Whoa... its range has increased 2.5 times!" he exclaimed in awe. His eyes scanned other parts of the description, and he discovered a new mode called Stealth. This mode offered the ability to conceal the satellite\'s presence, making it nearly undetectable by enemies.
A small smile played on his lips. "I wonder if I can duplicate this satellite too," he mused. He recalled his Duplication Tank, a tool that had never let him down, and he was confident it could assist him again.
Satisfied with the satellite\'s features, Lein closed the description panel. He turned his attention to another screen displaying the status of the next branch: Enhancement Branch.
