My Accidental Husband is a Billionaire!

Chapter 219 Mom

Chapter 219  Mom

The girl bore a striking resemblance to his late mother, and he found it hard to take his eyes off her.

He stared at Keira with a dazed expression, involuntarily moving closer to her…

When Keira saw this handsome middle-aged man approaching, she was slightly taken aback.

She looked around and saw that there was no one else, so was this man coming to see her?

While she was pondering this, she saw Uncle Olsen sit down in front of her, facing her.

Keira asked, "…Do you need something?"

Uncle Olsen said, "Wasn't it you who was staring at me first?"

Keira was perplexed.

No way.

She had only glanced at him a few times; was she being deliberately provoking?

Keira chuckled. "I just felt that you look very familiar, Sir."

"What a coincidence." Uncle Olsen's voice was deep with a hint of coldness, but his tone now seemed tinged with reminiscence. "Me too."

It had been over twenty years since he last saw his mother… Upon closer look, this girl's demeanor wasn't quite the same as his mother's, but that face…

He suddenly asked, "May I ask what your father's surname is?"

Keira was perplexed.

She found the man b a bit strange, but he also gave her a feeling of familiarity, which made her not want to lie.

Taylor wasn't her dad… perhaps Uncle Olsen was, or perhaps not… Mrs. Olsen didn't tell her last time. Her eyes were filled with deep sadness, so Keira didn't inquire further. Nôv(el)B\\jnn

After thinking for a moment, Keira said, "I don't know."

Uncle Olsen was taken aback. "How do you not know?"

"Because I've never met him."

Keira shrugged. "Is that strange?"

Seeing her carefree demeanor, Uncle Olsen gave a wry smile, shaking his head. "No."

The smile at the corner of Keira's lips portrayed her happiness. "Right, it doesn't matter who he is. Having my mom is enough for me…"

Uncle Olsen asked, "Are you very close with your mom?"

"Well."

Since Keira found out the truth about the baby swap, these days had been the happiest of her life.

The joy she had been suppressing made her want to share it with someone.

But she was never one to talk much, and the list of those she would talk to willingly was short. Unfortunately, Lewis had been preoccupied with his grandmother's issues lately, and she didn't feel right talking about her own happiness.

Seeing this stranger, she suddenly felt a strong desire to share.

Looking at Uncle Olsen, she slowly began. "You know what? My mom is the best mom in the world. Ever since I was little, if I did poorly on a test, she wouldn't scold me; she'd even buy me a cake to cheer me up… She seems to have never wanted me to be anything special, just happy and joyful…" That was Mrs. Olsen's philosophy in raising Isla from childhood.

Keira had dreamt countless times that she was Isla, comforted tenderly by Mrs. Olsen, held in her arms…

Those dreams used to make her feel guilty as if she had taken something away from Isla.

Even a hint of envy seemed inappropriate.

But now, she understood that it wasn't a dream.

Keira added. "I got married, and my mom never once looked down on me for marrying poorly. When she heard my husband was a vagabond, she would just gently smile and ask me to bring him home for her to see…"

She went on and on, talking about many things.

Not until she noticed the handsome middle-aged man's stern face soften did she suddenly come back to her senses. "Sorry, I talk too much."

Uncle Olsen, however, didn't mind, and as he looked at her face, he too reminisced about his own mother, his eyes filled with longing as he slowly said, "Your mom is indeed great, but my mother was even better."

Keira was intrigued.

As a mama's girl, she couldn't let that challenge slide.

She rolled up her sleeves, smiling in a way that was anything but happy. "Impossible! There's no mom better than mine in this world!"

Uncle Olsen frowned. "I've never seen a mom more open-minded than mine."

"That's because you haven't seen much," Keira scoffed. "My mom isn't just kind; she's also beautiful!"

Uncle Olsen retorted coldly, "My mom was even more beautiful! She was known as the number one beauty in her day!"

Keira spoke dismissively, "If you could meet my mom, you would know; no one can resist my mom's charm!"

Uncle Olsen was perplexed.

He actually became quite curious. "Then why don't you take me to see her?"

"Sure, let's go right now!" Keira stood up, spurred by the desire to show off her mom to the whole world!

The atmosphere between the two suddenly turned tense, and the other customers turned to look. The nearby waiter, seeing their argument, nervously made to intervene, but then saw...

Keira and Uncle Olsen were staring at each other, faces puffed with anger, but then all at once, both burst into laughter!

Keira felt that her previous behavior was a bit childish, and also quite silly!

Uncle Olsen's usually icy face also broke into a smile, and he thought how ridiculous it was for a middle-aged man to be squabbling here with this young girl.

Uncle Olsen asked, "Do you have plans tonight?"

Keira nodded. "Yeah, my husband will be here in a bit."

Uncle Olsen said, "I've heard this private kitchen serves delicious food, and I'd like to try more. It feels wasteful with too few people, so how about joining tables?"

Keira immediately said, "No problem! Are you from out of town? Then dinner is on me!"

Uncle Olsen was always direct, and he nodded. "Well then, I shall graciously accept."

His personality really appealed to Keira, and she grew even fonder of him, so she waved over a waiter and ordered, "Bring us a round of all the specialty dishes!"

It was her own restaurant, after all; she could eat as she pleased.

Uncle Olsen didn't object but said, "Shall we add each other on WhatsApp?"

"Sure!"

Keira took out her phone, and they scanned each other's QR codes.

Uncle Olsen said, "I don't usually add just anyone on WhatsApp."

A smile tugged at Keira's face. "Same here."

After adding each other on WhatsApp, Keira immediately chuckled. "Uncle, you're my friend now, so if you need help with anything, just let me know."

Uncle Olsen seized the moment. "Actually, I do have a trouble I'd like your advice on."

Keira asked, "What's the issue?"

"I accidentally offended a younger person, how do I make her happy again?"

Keira stroked her chin, pondering. "Man or woman?"

"A young woman."

"You should give her flowers," Keira racked her brains for a plan. "Pink ones are best! Girls love pink!"

Uncle Olsen nodded."I'll try that."

"Okay, if she's not appeased, I'll come up with more ideas for you. Just message me on WhatsApp then."

Keira raised her phone and then noticed a message from Lewis on WhatsApp. "I'm at the entrance. Are you in the lobby or a private room?"

Keira immediately looked toward the entrance and, sure enough, spotted Lewis getting out of the car.

Her eyes lit up, and she waved at him!
