Blood mixed with mud, a meld of red and black.
“Liu Mumu!”
Behind her, a commanding roar suddenly thundered.
Liu Chaochao took a swig of golden liquor and sprayed it onto the Skyruler Evil-Slaying Blade, the fiery gaze searing her neck.
Like before, when he received the offerings of incense, he felt no ounce of remorse. His resolve was unwavering! His eyes, fiery and determined, now saw his own glorious path!
"Sin must be purged, the heavens command it!" Liu Chaochao roared, his entire being channeling celestial power into the Skyruler Evil-Slaying Blade. The platinum sword arced through the air, blazing a trail of radiant light before cleaving downwards!
Under this blade\'s edge, Liu Mumu’s neck was as fragile as paper!
The blade’s force stirred the wind, striking awe across the crowd!
Every spectator\'s eyes widened, breath held, awaiting the decisive moment!
With this strike, all would be settled!
As Liu Chaochao swung his sword, a weight lifted from him. His face relaxed, and for a fleeting instant, a smile appeared.
But just then, in this instant of impending death, he saw Liu Mumu showing no fear, instead lifting her head high, her eyes passionately fixed on something distant!
What was there?
Liu Chaochao paused, glancing up unconsciously in the middle of his strike.
Blood? Darkness?

He had eyes of deep red and blood-red hair, his body covered in dense blood veins, connecting him and his sword as one! His skin had even turned pitch black, ominously dark and chilling.
Such a ferocious and violent figure hardly seemed human.
"A devil?" Madame Lu gasped, exclaiming, "A devil in the Celestial Court, a mere fugitive, dares to cause chaos?"
No one recognized the figure! Yet, the brutal and murderous aura exuding from him was enough to make one\'s skin crawl.
"Liu Mumu, you consort with this devil? Speak his name at once; perhaps it could lighten your punishment!" Madame Lu coldly said.
BUZZ! The dark figure in the crowd suddenly looked up, his blood-red eyes fiercely locking onto Madame Lu.
"What, you wish to kill me too?" Madame Lu scoffed, quietly retreating behind Jiang Taiping and Liu Zongyu.
BOOM! A towering mist of blood and black smoke erupted from the devil, his blood-red veins glowing ominously. His sword burst forth with a destructive power of sheer brutality!
WOOSH! In that instant, endless devilish energy swirled around him, rushing towards the officials of Sky Soaring City.
"How powerful!"
This devil gave them an utterly strange sensation. He didn\'t seem very strong at a glance, but the sword in his hand was terrifyingly dreadful!
BOOM! He charged with brutal force!
Liu Zongyu\'s eyes split with fury as he met the assault!
WOOSH! Suddenly, with his sword, the devil ripped through space, appearing right before Madame Lu.
"What is this thing?" Madame Lu fell into an abyss of fear, her eyes wide with terror.
SPUTTER! The devil\'s sword, emitting black smoke and blood mist, pierced her mouth in a flash!
"GAGH!!!" Madame Lu screamed, her throat torn, her mouth ripped open several times its size, her face covered in blood.
The devil grasped her neck with one hand, withdrawing the sword.
"Please, no..." Madame Lu\'s eyes bulged, her face ashen, her body convulsing in utmost terror.
Up close, the face she saw, shrouded in black mist and covered in blood veins, though black and bloody... still felt hauntingly familiar.
"Lu..." Her scream cut abruptly into a shriek.
With a squelch, the devil gripped her throat and slammed her against the doorpost, his sword piercing through her eye.
The tip of the sword pierced right through the post!
"Uh..." Madame Lu\'s body went limp, her arms drooping, as black blood gushed from her mouth.
SQUELCH! The devil pierced her other eye.
The body of Madame Lu shuddered, her eyes charred as coal pits, blood and tears mingling within. Together with her mouth, the three orifices bled in unison.
With a thump, the devil let go, and she slid down like a ragdoll, crumpling at his feet.
This scene, in front of Skyruler Immortal Manor, made everyone gasp in horror!
People backed away, glancing at the devil, and then at Liu Mumu.
"Liu Commander, how did you come to know such a fierce devil?"
"He has committed murder; you all are doomed!"
Those who had jeered now cursed.
Suddenly, the devil flung his Flying Sword!
SPLAT SPLAT SPLAT! The black and crimson bloodied sword streaked like a line of blood, instantly skewering thousands!
Thousands of mouths burst open!
Thousands of heads were punctured from behind!
Thousands fell, their eyes bulging, legs kicking, bodies stiffening in death!
"Who else wants to die?" The devil\'s voice was raspy, low but enough to chill the bones of the countless onlookers.
With a roar, the spectators finally broke, scrambling away in terror, screaming as they fled.
Though they still watched from a distance, at least there was peace now!
"Enough of this spectacle, wouldn\'t you say?" Jiang Taiping\'s expression was cold, his gaze deadly as he looked at the shadow, then commanded those beside him, "Seize him!"
Thousands of Arbiters dispersed, forming an encirclement.
They weren\'t the main force!
