Chapter 133: Thief Tyrion!
If a pharmacist, who was acknowledged by the Pharmacists Guild, were to sell their serums at the Tronic mall, they would be wearing a F grade or above badge.
This is due to the fact that the badge served as their proof of identity and skills, which would then allow them to sell their serums at a higher price. When facing these important people, Nicole would obviously treat them with respect.
But, looking at Tyrion, who was wearing a clown mask, as if he was afraid of people discovering what he looked like, Nicole showed him about the same respect as he would a beggar. After all, this dude was obviously a lower tier citizen, and these kind of people could never be pharmacists!
Normally, there could only be one possibility when these people came to sell their serums, and that was that the serums that they were selling were stolen goods. Nicole had met with very many of these situations over the years, so it was normal to him.
\'Right, take out your serums,\' Nicole said, as he looked at Tyrion with contempt. He had already pegged Tyrion as a thief in his heart.
Tyrion wrinkled his brows, displeased with Nicole\'s attitude. The reason why he wore a mask was to prevent others from knowing his identity. If the others knew his real identity, they would be able to find out that he had not studied pharmaceutics before.
For someone who had not been formally educated before to be able to cultivate such high quality serums, it would inevitably instill covetousness and greed within others, as they would want to know his secret!
Hence, Tyrion only wore the mask to protect himself, not to be a thief! Even though he was displeased with Nicole\'s attitude, Tyrion still placed the four bottles of enhanced Atomic Serums on the table.
"Enhanced Atomic Serums, which are two times as potent as normal Atomic Serums," Tyrion said.
"Hahaha… these are Atomic Serums? Two times as potent as normal Atomic Serums?" Nicole looked at the serums before him doubtfully. "The Atomic Serums that I\'ve touched are more than the women that you\'ve touched, so did you think you could come here and trick me with these things?"
Atomic Serums were usually green, sometimes blue, but were never this kind of pearly multi-colored serum that he was looking at now. In his eyes, Tyrion was passing off a blend of serums as a Atomic Serum.
Tyrion\'s face was gloomy as he said, "You\'ll know if it\'s an enhanced Atomic Serum, at least once you let the mall\'s Chemist check it."
"The pharmacists are important and busy people, they don\'t have time to help you authenticate your serum." Nicole mocked him. "Besides, asking a Chemist to authenticate serums costs money, the lowest fee being 10 million death points! Can you afford that?"
Tyrion looked grave. He had less than 100 death points with him as he had used it all to purchase blood esscense of different beasts?
Seeing that Tyrion did not even have 10,000 death points, Nicole believed that Tyrion had stolen the serum. After all, any legitimate Chemist could easily afford 10,000 death points.
"Young lad, I do not know where you stole these serums from. But, I shall be merciful today and pay you 100 death points for each bottle. Take the money and leave!"
Nicole arrogantly took out four pieces of the thumb-sized original death points. Original death points was a type of black electronic metal. It could be used as a source of energy and also could be replenished by absorbing solar energy.
A mere 100 original in death points per bottle?
Tyrion\'s eyes were filled with anger as he said, "I am not selling them!"
"Refusing to sell? You stole the serum and came here to sell it! I have seen many thieves like you, who dare not reveal their faces. If you don\'t sell the serum to me, I\'ll call the enforcer right now and have them arrest you." Nicole showed a fierce look, his tone filled with arrogance and disdain.
Tronic mall was known and trusted by pharmacists for the acquisition of serum regarding reasonable pricing. However, this fair pricing only applied to established pharmacists.
It was a common dog-eat-dog practice for Nicole to treat a commoner and thief like Tyrion. To Nicole, this kind of thief often stole the serum and was more than eager to sell it for money.
As Nicole had the final say on the pricing of the stolen goods, since he acted as a reseller to sell the stolen goods under the name of the mall, he always earned a huge profit. He had been doing this for several years, and had amassed a huge fortune already.
Previously, he had encountered many uncooperative thieves like Tyrion. However, each time he threatened to call the enforcer, the other party would comply obediently. Although he did not recognize the type of serum that Tyrion took out, he was confident that it would fetch him a great profit, just judging by its extraordinary appearance alone.
"Thief? You took me for a thief!"
Tyrion became more furious and said, "I refined the serum myself. Had I not spent all of my money in the process, I would have paid a Chemist for a serum certification test."
Nicole sneered. He did not believe Tyrion and said, "Every thief, who comes to me to sell me his stolen goods, claims that he is a pharmacist."
"Humph! You can go ahead and call the enforcer, then!" Tyrion said coldly. "See if you can prove that I am a thief. Making a false accusation is no small crime, after all!"
