Chapter 265: A Mythical Battle of Colossal Beasts (I)
Chapter 265: A Mythical Battle of Colossal Beasts (I)
When the silhouette of the black and red beast appeared below the surface, the Single-horned Kun and Deep Sea Dragon Turtle excitedly rushed over.
Squeak, squeak, squeak! Thunder Fiery, there\'s a formidable creature on the island waiting for you. It beat us up.
Roar, roar! Thunder Fiery, kill it! That creature is horrible; it came at me and beat me up badly.
Roar! What’s going on? The Thunder Beast was confused. Usually, battles between mutated creatures were brutal and bloody, typically ending with one fleeing or being killed and eaten.
Although the two were seriously injured, the opponent hadn’t killed them. Instead, it seemed to be allowing them to roam around freely in the sea.
Squeak, squeak, squeak! While I was looking for valuable resources in the outer sea, I encountered that creature...
The Kun then recounted in detail what happened after it met the Silver Colossal Dragon; how it was beaten up and then how the dragon wanted to subdue all of them.
After finishing the story, both the Kun and the Dragon Turtle looked at the Thunder Beast, hoping it would help them get revenge.
Roar! I got it. I’ll go check it out.
The Thunder Beast nodded slightly and then swam toward the beach.
After this dragon beast had beaten the Kun and the Dragon Turtle, as their leader, it had to step in. Otherwise, the little group it had painstakingly created would fall apart.
It was also curious about this draconic beast, and how it apparently wanted to establish an empire by subduing other colossal beasts. Thoughts like these were not common among mutated creatures; even level 9 colossal beasts didn’t have the concept of a nation in their minds.
As the Thunder Beast approached the shore, huge waves crashed down onto the beach. The menacing colossal beast emerged from the waves, standing upright at thirty-nine meters tall. Streams of water cascaded down its thick, scaly armor, like waterfalls.
Roar!
As the black and red ferocious beast emerged from the sea, the Silver Dragon, which had been lounging carelessly on the beach, stood up abruptly, with draconic power exploding from within it.
The pressure was so strong that it felt tangible. White waves of air radiated from the Silver Dragon, its astonishing presence whipping up fierce winds that swept across a hundred-meter radius.
The Silver Dragon had a serious expression on its face as it sensed a strong feeling of danger emanating from the black and red draconic beast. Although its opponent was slightly smaller in size, it would not be wise to judge the strength of colossal beasts merely by that alone.
It wasn’t just Saixitia who realized the seriousness of the situation. The Thunder Beast also felt a sense of gravity. This silver draconic beast, or rather, this Silver Colossal Dragon, was extremely powerful. The Thunder Beast sensed the ominous aura of a king-level bloodline from it.
Unlike the Golden-Backed Rampage Ape and the Blood Armored Beast King, which had only traces of king-level bloodlines, this Silver Dragon\'s bloodline was pure and prestigious.
This was the descendant of a mythical creature that was not native to this world. Combining this fact with it being a draconic beast meant its combat power was even more formidable. Even before the fight began, the Thunder Beast had already evaluated its opponent\'s strength in its mind.
Scorching heat emanated from the its nostrils as golden-red flames suddenly ignited on its body, instantly evaporating the surrounding air at a scorching temperature of four thousand degrees Celsius. The water at its feet began to boil, pushed away by the intense heat and evaporating into massive amounts of white steam.
As strong as it was, the Thunder Beast didn’t dare underestimate the king-blooded dragon it was facing.
Boom!
A ferocious aura exploded from the Thunder Beast, and blue thunderbolts, as thick as a human arm, crackled between the fins on its back. Surrounded by dazzling golden flames and covered in thunderbolts, the Thunder Beast resembled a mythical creature, its presence overwhelming.
Watching from the sea, the Kun and the Dragon Turtle immediately grew excited.
Squeak, squeak, squeak! Thunder Fiery, get it! It beat me up badly before.
Roar, roar! Yeah, hit it, hit it hard!
As its companions, they knew better than anyone how terrifying Thunder Fiery was. Despite its short stature, it was robust, and killing colossal beasts larger than itself was as easy as drinking water.
Just as the battle was about to begin, the Silver Dragon suddenly growled. Roar! Are you the leader they mentioned?
The Thunder Beast let out a low growl in return. Roar! That\'s right.
The Silver Dragon rumbled. Roar! You are strong, I can feel it. How about joining forces with the great Saixitia to establish a kingdom of colossal beasts in this undeveloped world?
The Thunder Beast was speechless. It knew how deep the waters of this world ran.
In this world? You\'d probably be annihilated by the human powerhouses before you even made a move. Even if you managed to bring out the mythical creature backing you and establish a colossal beast force in the deep sea, setting foot on land would get you destroyed.
Moreover, rather than any notion of a colossal beast kingdom, Thunder Fiery was more interested in the Silver Dragon itself.
If I consume this descendant of a mythical creature, could it enhance my power, or perhaps allow me to absorb some of its mythical genes?
As these thoughts raced through the Thunder Beast’s mind, the Silver Dragon suddenly felt a chill down its spine.
Whoosh!
A fierce green wind suddenly surrounded the Silver Dragon, and ice crystals emanating an intense chill appeared out of nowhere, forming a snowstorm that covered a two hundred meter radius.
Roar! You vile savage! How dare you harbor ill intentions toward the great Saixitia? Today, the great Saixitia will show you the wrath of a dragon!
Boom!
Under the cover of the snowstorm, the large Silver Dragon flapped its wings, instantly exploding with a breakneck speed of several hundred meters per second. A sonic boom roared, shaking the atmosphere.
Boom!
The flaming black and red dragon claw and the blizzard-wrapped Silver Dragon claw clashed, unleashing a destructive force that erupted from between the two colossal beasts.
Boom!
The ground beneath the two beasts shattered, the sea water exploded towards the sky, and an endless mixture of water and sand was flung in all directions, creating a dry zone over a hundred meters wide in the shallow sea.
Roar, roar, roar!
The Silver Dragon\'s muscles bulged as it exerted tremendous force to overpower the slightly smaller, peak level 7 Thunder Beast.
In its snowstorm field, ice blades several meters long appeared, forming a storm of slicing ice blades within the howling wind.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
In the green wind, the ice blades spun like missiles at subsonic speed, each one possessing the power to cut through even a battleship.
In this scenario, creatures below the Seventh Heavenly Realm had no chance of getting close.
The rapidly moving ice blades collided with the golden flames that were erupting from the Thunder Beast, causing explosions. Only a few of the larger ice blades managed to penetrate the flames.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Even these ice blades, however, were melted to just a few meters long by the high heat, and shattered on the colossal beast’s scorching scales, the remnants instantly dissolved by the intense flames.
While the Thunder Beast endured the ice blade storm, its blazing flames also burned the Silver Dragon at close range. Just like the Thunder Beast, the Silver Dragon was also protected by its powerful white icy aura, which clashed with the fiery force, creating rings of explosive light.
Roar!
Suddenly, the Thunder Beast\'s muscles swelled, and in an instant, it unleashed unimaginable force, hurling the larger Silver Dragon away with its claws.
Boom!
The Silver Dragon crashed down like a small mountain falling from the sky. With a loud boom, it slammed into the island forest hundreds of meters away. The impact was like an explosion, sending soil flying as smoke and dust billowed.
