Chapter 102
Chapter 102
However, her small axe could only chop small branches, and this flower stem was even thicker than her waist.
So when she swung the axe at it, it had no effect at all.
Just as she was desperately shaking the stem, the flower suddenly retched and directly spat out the Tyrannosaurus.
Although its fur was covered in a thick green sticky liquid, fortunately it was not missing any limbs, allowing Yu Qingxian to relax a little.
But she never expected that the plants here would actually be carnivorous plants!
She had never heard of such a thing before!
Well, even if there was a warning, she wouldn\'t have heard it anyway.
This man-eating plant not only spat out the Tyrannosaurus, but even shrank to one side, retching.
It wasn\'t until Yu Qingxian circled around to the back of the Tyrannosaurus that she saw the mess of diarrhea all over its backside.
It was the watery version.
Yu Qingxian couldn\'t smell it, but just thinking about the odor made her crouch beside the man-eating plant and vomit as well.
But then thinking about the Tyrannosaurus\' dung inside the man-eating plant\'s mouth, Yu Qingxian moved away from it again.
During this period, the Tyrannosaurus had been unstoppable, defying gods and buddhas alike.
But little did it expect that even the mighty Tyrannosaurus didn\'t have that big of a stomach, having actually been scared into diarrhea.
But then again, if she had been swallowed alive, she would have struggled instinctively too.
So the Tyrannosaurus, wanting to survive, must have been terrified when suddenly swallowed.
Yu Qingxian looked at the man-eating plant still retching beside her, and waved a burning stick of wood in front of it.
The man-eating plant indeed kept dodging.
Although Yu Qingxian felt that her burning stick of wood couldn\'t really hurt it, the plant\'s instinct was still to fear the flames.
Seeing that the man-eating plant was indeed afraid, she took two sticks and performed a sword routine in front of the man-eating plant.
It did manage to drive the man-eating plant away.
Yu Qingxian then turned back to look at the Tyrannosaurus.
It was also retching.
Probably the sticky liquid on its body didn\'t smell good either.
Yu Qingxian then rolled up her sleeves, not even bothering with the down jacket, and went to help the Tyrannosaurus get the sticky liquid off its body.
In just a few minutes, the sticky liquid started freezing, hardening.
Yu Qingxian quickly brushed off the ice chips.
As for the smell, Yu Qingxian didn\'t really have any sensations.
The main thing was that she still had human consciousness, so she still felt a little nauseous.
Fortunately, the sticky liquid had all frozen, so she just needed to brush it off.
And since her body had no temperature, the sticky liquid wouldn\'t melt either.
It was just the diarrhea on the Tyrannosaurus\' backside that Yu Qingxian couldn\'t do anything about.
She could only let the Tyrannosaurus wipe itself clean on the grass.
As for whether it could get completely clean, Yu Qingxian wasn\'t sure either.
When it came back, Yu Qingxian saw that its entire backside was wet, and the diarrhea was all gone.
Yu Qingxian told it to hurry up and warm itself by the fire.
Otherwise, it would freeze later.
If its backside froze, that would be the end.
It would have difficulties defecating in the future.
She went up to help the Tyrannosaurus hold up its tail, and then threw some more wood into the fire.
Although the wood had just been chopped down and the smoke was heavy, they couldn\'t worry about that at the moment.
Surrounded by smoke, Yu Qingxian instinctively closed her eyes, afraid the dense smoke would irritate them.
But unexpectedly, she felt nothing at all.
Her eyes had no issues either.
Indeed, after becoming a zombie, aside from high temperatures and head injuries, there really were no weaknesses.
Yu Qingxian saw the flames blazing up, so she backed away, then broke off a tree branch to help prop up the Tyrannosaurus\' tail.
The sky had completely darkened, though Yu Qingxian\'s vision wasn\'t too affected.
But Yu Qingxian knew that the surroundings were probably pitch black, invisible even at close range.
With the appearance of that man-eating plant, Yu Qingxian became even more cautious.
This forest clearly contained many plants she had never seen before.
And these plants were all very dangerous.
After seeing that the fur on the Tyrannosaurus\' backside had been dried by the fire, Yu Qingxian put down the branch.
She tossed the branch aside, then took out the Tyrannosaurus\' mat and blanket for it to sleep on.
Then she picked up the axe that had fallen to the ground, preparing to retrieve her down jacket from the tree.
But when she pulled on it, she found that the down jacket was completely wedged between the tree branches.
She was a bit surprised.
Because when she had come down from the tree, the down jacket was just hanging on the trunk.
Now it was tightly squeezed between two branches.
Yu Qingxian instantly realized that her getting stuck in the branches wasn\'t because she was clumsy.
Rather, it was because these two tree trunks would actually close together.
This made Yu Qingxian stare at those two tree trunks, raising the axe in her hand to chop at one of them.
Just two axe swings, and that trunk loosened up a bit.
Yu Qingxian then pulled out her down jacket.
Although she was still wearing a coat, she couldn\'t just give her down jacket to the tree.
It seemed that even without zombies, this forest was still dangerous.
Yu Qingxian returned to the campfire, holding a branch in one hand and the axe in the other.
Standing guard behind the Tyrannosaurus like a door god.
With the campfire in front, she didn\'t have to worry about plants coming from that direction, so she just had to watch behind.
At one point, some vines did try to go after the Tyrannosaurus, but Yu Qingxian was quick with her axe, directly chopping the vines apart.
She even picked up the vines and tried to mimic Ye\'s moves by swinging them, but her motions were soft and not cool at all.
After accidentally hitting the sleeping Tyrannosaurus and waking it up, Yu Qingxian just threw the vines away.
Sure enough, these things were like whips, requiring proper skill.
Otherwise, you\'d just end up hitting yourself.
Or someone else, or another dog.
At the first light of dawn, the Tyrannosaurus woke up.
In order to avoid spending another night in the wild, Yu Qingxian planned to quicken their pace to the county town.
Fortunately, they had made good progress the previous two days.
By 2pm, they reached the county town.
Though it was called a county town, to Yu Qingxian, it didn\'t even feel as big as a regular town.
But when entering the town, Yu Qingxian was still somewhat cautious.
Mainly because she didn\'t see any zombies in the town.
Of course, she also didn\'t sense any living humans.
It seemed this place had no survivors or official personnel stationed.
But the quieter a place was, the more care was needed.
The houses in this county town were spread out, not very close together.
Yu Qingxian scouted ahead, confirming there was no danger, before letting the Tyrannosaurus enter a house first.
She then closed the door, holding a tree branch as she headed into the county town.
To find out if there were any zombies in this county town, the easiest way was to just call out.
"Is anybody there? No, let me rephrase that - are there any zombies here?" Yu Qingxian shouted a few times, but no zombies answered her.
Just when Yu Qingxian thought there were truly no zombies in this town, a figure suddenly rushed out from behind a house and sped past her.
Yu Qingxian saw that the figure was wearing local attire, so it was not a mutated zombie.
And its target was clear - the Tyrannosaurus Rex.
She knew there had to be something amiss with how quiet this county town was.
"Stop right there!" Yu Qingxian yelled as she threw the branch in her hand.
And that zombie was indeed pinned to the spot.
Yu Qingxian immediately realized that this was an intelligent zombie.
One that could communicate.
Yu Qingxian quickly jogged over and saw that it was a short figure with two long braids, so she knew it was a female zombie.
She circled around to its front and saw that this zombie looked to be in her early twenties when she was alive.
However, this zombie\'s eyes were red, not golden like Shi Xingyu and Ye, indicating that it was slightly weaker than them.
But it was still at least a Level 3 or 4 zombie.
Yu Qingxian stared at it, and it stared back at her.
Of course, Yu Qingxian didn\'t miss the secretions dripping from the corner of its mouth.
Since it wasn\'t as strong as Shi Xingyu and Ye, it definitely couldn\'t defeat the Tyrannosaurus Rex.
Yu Qingxian suddenly stopped worrying.
