Chapter 74 - Clearing the Shop

Chapter 74: Clearing the Shop

As Li Ran continued to grab everything that she could possibly need such as baby shampoo, anti-rashes, baby oil, milk powder, and wet paper towels.

She was very careful at all times and barely made any noise.

All Li Ran needed to do was to think about it and the item would disappear from her hands and be stored in the mysterious space.

After almost emptying the entire aisle, Li Ran stopped.

She looked around and took out a long knife that she had kept close to her. Touching it gave her some sense of security. She still had the gun as well. Even if something happened, she would be fine.

Since most of the bullets were used up, she thought of purchasing more from the mysterious space. It should be possible. After all, she had already bought a car. For some reason, Li Ran was quite confident regarding this matter.

Li Ran peeped out for a short while. There were two zombies walking towards her, one from the left and the other from the right.

She quickly stood up but suddenly, her vision went dark and she felt dizzy. Li Ran could not stand still, so she supported herself by leaning against the shelf beside her.

“Oh no! I’ve squatted for too long!”

In her haste, she accidentally shook the shelf and an ear-piercing noise could be heard.

The two zombies instantly rushed over. To make things worse, even the zombies from some distance away had heard the noise and they began walking towards her location.

Li Ran’s expression changed and she took out the long knife. Without any hesitation, she stabbed one of the zombies in its head.

Then, she quickly pulled the knife out so she could deal with the other zombie.

However, the other zombie was already right in front of her. She barely had any time to think and immediately stabbed it in its stomach.

Li Ran clenched her teeth, trying to suppress the disgusting feeling. She could feel the zombie’s sticky blood dripping on her hands.

It sent a shiver down her spine.

She abruptly pulled out the long knife and while the zombie was in a daze, she swung the knife and chopped off its head.

Once that was done, Li Ran narrowed her eyes and looked around.

There were three zombies moving slowly on the left and two on the right.

These zombies were pretty weak and did not have much offensive power.

Li Ran did not waste any time and attacked the zombies on the right. Soon, she had killed all of them.

Then, she looked to the left. The zombies were still moving very sluggishly. So, she charged to the other side and slaughtered the rest of the zombies. She did not falter at all.

It would be best if she was done by now.

Li Ran looked at a big shelf and there were some clothes for pregnant women. There were also disposable diapers, cribs, and baby bathtubs

She promptly took them and stored everything in the mysterious space.

Anything that seemed even remotely useful would be snagged by her!

In fact, she was worried that her baby might turn out to be picky, so she took different variations of all the items.

It was better to be prepared!

A panting sound could be heard again. Li Ran froze in her footsteps.

She scanned her surroundings and saw a children’s play area. There was a sea of colorful balls surrounded by transparent glass and inside were child zombies.

One-third of the child zombies were looking in Li Ran’s direction but they did not see her. It was as if they were in a daze. They tried to move forward but could not get out because the transparent glass was blocking their way.

The children did not even know that they had turned into zombies. They had a peaceful expression on their faces, just like an ordinary person.

Upon seeing that, Li Ran cautiously left.

It did not matter that they were children. They had already turned into zombies. Li Ran tried to forget what she had seen.

Perhaps somebody put those children inside that place to spare them. Otherwise, the weak child zombies might be brutally killed by other survivors.
