Chapter 1208: The Vampire Prince’s Blood Slave (86)

She was pressed against the door frame, and a man placed both hands next to her ears, completely trapping her in his arms.
He lowered his head, his short black hair surrounded by a ring of light. His attitude was gentle, but his eyes gleamed with a chill that was difficult to detect.
“I heard you were mixed up in the rebel group’s chaos. You’re okay, right?”
A flash of vigilance flickered through Bai Weiwei’s eyes. “What rebel group, I have no idea.”
She wasn’t supposed to know that Lewis was one of the leaders of the rebel group.
So she pretended not to know.
Lewis didn’t even think of how ambiguous it was to kabedon someone like this.
He put on a concerned expression. “You don’t need to be on guard against me. I’m just worried about you.”
Bai Weiwei answered, completely unmoved, “Thanks for your concern but Student Council President’s way of showing worry is really different from others.”
Pulling people into the supply closet to play kabedon, those who didn’t know would think he was a pervert.
Lewis seemed to appreciate her alert attitude. His voice was gentle and sincere.
“You don’t need to be on guard with me, Weiwei, I’m someone you can trust.”
Bai Weiwei still looked indifferent, seeming somewhat nervous.
Lewis comfortingly stroked her hair, only to be slapped in the face by the girl.
His face snapped to the side.
Bai Weiwei sneered, “I don’t like other people touching my hair, like I’m some pet.”
That feeling of a master stroking their pet’s fur was extremely uncomfortable.
Lewis was taken aback, his cheek burning.
He didn’t withdraw his hand, but the gentleness in his tone became more playful.
“Why, then will you allow your master to touch you?”
Bai Weiwei lifted her gaze. The fury in her eyes made her look particularly aggressive.
“Are you here to insult me, Student Council President Lewis?”
The joking look on Lewis’s face vanished, replaced by helplessness. He moved his hands away and took a few steps back, granting Bai Weiwei freedom.
“No, I thought you would want to join us.”
Bai Weiwei unhesitatingly opened the door. As she was about to leave–
“I’m sure there’ll be more excellent students joining the Student Council? After all, aren’t their rewards very generous? Three quotas for first-years, how very enviable ah.”
This sentence became filled with irony coming from her mouth.
Saying that, she stepped out of the supply closet, when a faint voice came from behind.
“I’m inviting you to join, the Anti-Vampire Alliance.”
Bai Weiwei’f footsteps halted, but her head did not turn.
Lewis leaned against the door, watching her seriously.
“I know you hate vampires. Last time when you appeared in our meeting, didn’t you want me to pull you in to join us?”
Bai Weiwei finally glanced back in disbelief.
“That was you?”
Lewis smiled. “En, it was me. I’m a small leader in the Anti-Vampire Alliance. We suffered a huge loss at the last gathering, and we need a lot of new members to fill our ranks, so I wanted to invite you to join.”
Bai Weiwei frowned. “Aren’t you worried I’ll betray you?”
This was a reference to her identity.
Lewis sighed softly. “If you really want to betray us, I will die willingly. I’ve never dared to tell you, but I like you. I’ve liked you for three years.”
When he said this, his face lacked any expression, and his voice was extremely indifferent.
But his eyes were lit with deep affection.
He suddenly turned his head, face flushing. “I’m being too rude. You probably don’t even recognize me.”
He acted out a humble, secret crush very well.
A flash of shock crossed Bai Weiwei’s face. She quickly composed herself and retorted coldly, “Don’t make jokes. Also, if I join the Alliance, it’s not because of you, but because I know that humans and vampires can’t coexist. I’m a human, and it’s my duty to resist the vampires.”
