Chapter 759 Asmodeus - Seals
"Do You understand?" The silver-eyed man softly said, tapping his fingers against his crossed arms, standing near a bewitching young woman with long black hair trailing to her back. I dared not look upon her nor the silver-eyed man that awakened such a primordial fear within me. I had seen Zantar, but these two were on an entirely different level.
"I\'ll keep my mouth shut," I promised, ready to lock that memory away.
"You happy? I still don\'t see why I had to help you with this." He wryly expressed to the black-haired woman, who merely giggled.
"Suck it up. It\'s not so bad. How about I make dinner, you can even invite your wife while we watch the show."
The silver-haired Lord sighed, his sterling eyes dipping towards me once more, leaving me shivering on my knees. "Dinner from the Wicked Witch, why not. What\'s the worse that can happen?"
Blinking out of my senses, I felt a wave of relief course through my veins, and I simply collapsed, gasping for air. "By the Hells, was that the Silver Devil?" Shaking my head, I dismissed the very image, the very fear from my mind; and snapped as a wave of Astral Qi surged within the depts of my mind, sealing the very memory. I wanted no part in this. None. Arsene, you bloody idiot, what have you done?
…
…
…
"Asmodeus?" Arsene howled, from within the Holocube, bellowing within my mind as my eyes snapped open.
"Asmo!"
Confusion rippled like an endless wave sending a dark chill racing down my spine. Snapping my head up, I surveyed my surrounding upon a large mountain. "What the—"
"ASMODEUS!!!!"
"WHAT!" I howled, summoning the Holocube.
"Bitch ain\'t you hear me calling you? It\'s been four fucking months!"
"Who the hell are you calling a bitch, boy!"
"The jackass, who doesn\'t pick up!"
"Boy"
Asshole!"
Releasing a dry breath, I rolled my eyes at this silver-headed fucker, " What the hell do you want, Arsene." I said, understanding that four months had passed.
What the hell happened?
Reaching into myself, the very core of my being, I suddenly felt myself frown as I stared at the one hundred and forty-four seals in my soul core. Scrunching my brow, I could help but curse beneath my breath, counting yet another seal that had appeared deep within me.
"Earth to fucking Asmo? You still there?" Arsene annoyingly sounded.
I snorted, fixing my gaze on him, but my thoughts were still on that seal. Each of those seals was a warning to me that either I touched upon a dark truth I was not meant to, or a worse, a higher life form.
There was no such thing as being the strongest; the one hundred and forty-four seals were the proof of that.
"What?" I finally said.
"I sent you a map, and there should be a representative heading to the battlefield with Baphomet."
"Don\'t send them there," I said, nudging my temple to soothe the pounding headache.
"Why?"
"Because I said so," I argued, " I will send you a safe zone, away from the prying eyes of Zantar. That bastard is far more powerful than I could ever imagine."
Arsene scrunched his brow but rolled his eyes, "whatever. My spies tell me that the war is at a standstill. I need you to break it."
"Leaders don\'t—"
"Break it, Asmo," Arsene darkly demanded, " With the Death of Yu Jing, things will soon get complicated."
"Opening the Gates of Iluthath isn\'t really the goal of us devils. We could care less if one-half blood dies."
"Then you\'re a fool because I am currently standing before a mural depicting the future. If you think this war has nothing to do with it, you fail as a Paragon." Arsene replied, lifting his eyes towards what appeared to be a wall. "I have already begun to inform all my other spies to begin striking. The second major battle is about to start soon. Bael will be the general; I have already contacted him."
"Bael is too stupid—"
"Then release your hold on him. From what Ezra told me, to help Azazel become a king, you had to dethrone a king. And what better than the one who could challenge you? Send Soloman or maybe Aldritch if you are not comfortable with the idea of Bael leading. There is no such thing as holding back now; I don\'t know how long Baphomet can hold out with the Demons Mother\'s blessing, but I don\'t wish to find out. We need to separate the seven first-class angels. and start killing them one by one. "
On that, I agreed. Baphomet was pissed right now, but he was only on the front lines because he was trying to become a paragon. With my earlier blessing, this shouldn\'t be an issue. He just needed experience; the same could be said about the other Kings and Princes of Hell.
Were it not for the angel\'s inability to receive blessing from their GOD; this battle would have ended long ago.
Bael wasn\'t a bad choice from out of all the kings; before Azazel fell, he was the strongest, with his almost limitless knowledge. However, now he was but a bumbling fool I destroyed too many times. He will most certainly need backup.
Pulling up the map Arsene showed, my eyes widened at the massive geographics. "Holy shit, this world is the size of a prime world."
"Yep, but that is the issue; from both our positions, it will take about a thousand years to make it to Iliah. Also, I think I need to tell you, but I found a vein of Bloodstones." My head snapped to meet his crimson eyes,
"What did you say?"
"Yeah, and that made me start thinking. If these bloodstones exist, then what about—\'
"Treasures higher beings cast away? Or divine objects formed naturally? By Lucifers Grace!!" I cried, "Tell me where this blood cave is!"
"It\'s secured, I can assure you on that."
I shook my head, " You don\'t understand; bloodstones are known to rival the Chaos Drew, which needs a Chaos Year to form. I\'m sure Ezra may have told you, but bloodstones form only near other bloodstones." Arsene nodded, and I continued, raising two fingers, " So that must mean there are two original crystals. Think of how powerful they might be? Get those crystals, Arsene. Get them and throw them in your ring. That ring is older than I am. Make sure you hide them well."
