Chapter 153 - CALL ME PATRICIA
"What else can I do for you, Elena?" asked Richard curiously.
Ellena looked down for a moment, then looked back up at Richard.
"Can you just call me Patricia, don't call me Ellena." Ellena asked hesitantly.
She should have done that from the start, in order to hide her true identity. Given that she's currently trying to hide herself, so don't want her whereabouts to be easier to find. Oh, how stupid. Why did she only think of it now?
Amazed. Of course Richard felt something odd. Why not when you first meet Ellena introduce yourself by that name. If it was like this, he actually became suspicious of Ellena. What is this woman really hiding?
"Okay." Richard softly agreed, but his gaze was full of suspicion. "But why?" he asked trying to quell his curiosity.
"Oh, that's fine. I'm just more used to being called that." Ellena replied with a chuckle, hiding her nervousness.
Richard arched an eyebrow again, but this time it didn't last long. He returned to his usual expression.
"Okay if that makes you more comfortable." Richard said with a smile on his face.
"Thank you," squeaked Elena.
Richard nodded in approval. For him it is not something that is difficult, although the reasons put forward by the woman are not satisfactory for him. However, if it could make Ellena happy, of course she would be happy too.
"Ehm … should we go now, Elle?—Ah, I mean, Patricia."
"Of course, why not?" said Ellena as if to challenge Richard.
The man's laughter filled the ceiling in an instant. Ellena's personality seems to be very pleasant and will make her days will also be more enjoyable later. Richard grew impatient for tomorrow. Ah, or should he ask the woman to start work today?
The two of them walked hand in hand towards the parking lot. The clatter of steps that answered each other sent light conversations to familiarize themselves more. Not infrequently laughter enliven their conversation.
Even though the two of them had just met, it was as if they had known each other for a long time. If people do not know, of course they will misunderstand seeing their closeness.
Richard quickened his pace, then opened the car door for Ellena. "Ladies first." He said, showing a distinctive smile that added to the value of the man's handsomeness.
Ellena was stunned for a moment. "Wow, that's a really amazing smile." The woman was taken aback by her own words. She doesn't usually speak her mind. "Sorry." She added with a blush on her face.
The woman cursed her carelessness. Maybe she will misunderstand what she said. After all, when compared to Lucas, Richard's smile was nothing.
Instantly Ellena's face turned sad. Even at a time like this her mind was still full of Lucas. Either the man is fine, or has regained consciousness. Will her husband look for her as soon as she notices her absence or will it be the other way around? Lucas wouldn't care, after knowing that engineering portrait?
Ah, it's only been a while since she separated from the man who stole her heart. However, the longing piggy bank seems to have exceeded its capacity and asked to be solved.
Noticing Ellena's mood swings, Richard tried to distract her. They had barely known each other, but he didn't want to see the sadness on the beautiful face beside him.
"Ehm, today's weather looks very sunny and beautiful. However, after I noticed it was only sunny. You know why?" Richard asked breaking the silence.
"No. I don't. Why?" Ellena responded with a question.
Richard suddenly smiled. "Of course because you've taken the beauty. So, all that's left is the sunny weather," added the man. However, only responded with a flat face by Ellena.
"Ah, sorry for this rudeness," said the man with a strange expression as he scratched the back of his neck which was itchy or not.
Ellena laughed until tears rolled down the corners of her eyes. "Sorry, I didn't mean to laugh at you. It's just, I didn't think you would make such a joke."
"Yeah, laugh all you want, Patricia. Because your face gets prettier when you laugh."
Ellena was silent for a moment, making the man stop laughing too. She gestured with her hand for Richard to bring her face closer.
"Since you are kind, I will tell you a secret." Ellena said in a slight whisper.
Richard is honored. If that woman had been willing to share a secret with him, wouldn't that mean he had accepted their friendship, right?
"What?" He asked in a half-whispered voice too. He lowered his head slightly so that it was level with Ellena's face.
"Actually ...." Ellena looked into Richard's eyes and hung up on her, making the man even more eager to wait. "I've been beautiful since I was in the womb." She added with a serious face.
However, it succeeded in making Richard bite his lip to hold back a laugh. "I expected that." He replied with an equally serious face. "But why are we whispering? Aren't we the only two in the car?"
Instead of answering Richard's question.
Ellena glanced left and right. It was as if she was worried that someone would hear what she was going to say. "Don't say things like that. I'm getting goosebumps and scared."
"Why?" Richard made a surprised face. Isn't it still daytime and spirits won't appear? Wouldn't they appear in the dark and at night?
"Because ... when it's just the two of us, then the third is a demon." She answered firmly with wide eyes. However, it actually made Richard even more amused by the adorable face displayed by Ellena.
After looking at each other for a moment, they both laughed at their behavior.
"Okay now it's time to get serious. Do you want to eat something or are you allergic to certain foods?"
Ellena held her chin as if in thought. Then, answered with a teasing face. "I can eat anything and have no allergies to certain foods. It's up to you where you want to eat."
"Okay I'll take you to my favorite place to eat."
It wasn't long before they arrived at a five-star western restaurant. A restaurant with a variety of recommended menus that are guaranteed to arouse anyone's taste. Plus the atmosphere and the interior of the room is luxurious.
The typical western atmosphere immediately spoils the eye as soon as you enter the restaurant. Interesting enough for Ellena who had just settled in the city. A maid immediately approached them, then ushered them to a special table. Yes, Richard has been a VVIP member at that luxury restaurant for a long time.
"Please wait for the order, Sir," said the waiters with a friendly smile and slightly bowed her body respectfully. After Richard nodded his head, the maidservant left them.
Not long after the waiters came back with some menu dishes. The woman arranged the food on the table deftly. Beef tenderloin salad, buffalo mozzarella and Gandaria Club which has turkey meat filling have been arranged neatly.
The distinctive aroma of cooking immediately greeted Ellena's sense of smell. Her stomach, which was already hungry because she didn't have breakfast this morning, felt even more grimace asking to be filled with a line of food that looked tempting.
"Enjoy it, Miss Patricia." Richard said kindly.
"Thank you, Mr Richard." Ellena answered with a smile. Ah, what a charming smile from a handsome figure.
After being invited, Ellena also ate the dish gracefully. Even though her stomach is hungry, she will not forget to always maintain her image and etiquette at the dinner table.
Richard also ate the dish. Every now and then he seemed to glance at the beautiful woman he had just met. Judging from the way he eats, it is certain that Ellena is not an ordinary woman.
His little heart became troubled. Want to be closer to the figure of Ellena who is beautiful, kind, and of course very attractive. However, of course such a woman already has a partner, right? I don't know which man is lucky to get the woman's heart. Ah, he must be very jealous of that man.
Richard still feeds pieces of Buffalo Mozarella even though he's upset. The man finally decided to remain friends and eroded the distance between them little by little. Let everything run naturally and as it is.
After he got used to his presence and accepted him, then Richard would go further. Isn't there a term of unyielding before the yellow leaf curls? Of course he will try his hardest to get what he wants. Especially when it comes to women.
"What is it?" asked Ellena in surprise when she found Richard smiling amusedly.
"Ah, nothing. I just remembered something funny." The man replied quickly. How could he have thought that far. Approaching Ellena and even snatching her from another man before the yellow leaves curl. This is only their second meeting. Funny.
"Are you laughing at me?" Ellena squinted sharply at Richard.
"Of course not. How could I laugh at your beauty, Patricia? I should be praising, not laughing." Richard's words managed to silence Ellena. The woman lowered her head, trying to hide her face which must have been flushed with embarrassment.
"Ah, you're really good at complimenting." Ellena replied with a small chuckle, then slid a piece of tenderloin into her mouth.
"Hm ... may I ask you something?" Richard asked, glancing at Ellena for a moment, then lowering his gaze, without stopping the hands that kept moving to cut the food on the plate.
"Of course. please!" answered Ellena casually without any fear or worry. "What do you want to ask of me?" She asked not too focused on the man in front of her. There wasn't even the slightest bit suspicious of the question Richard was about to ask her.
"Why did you decide to move to Bogor?" asked Richard as if he had a serious meaning hidden behind his question.
Ellena was stunned, confused about what to answer, while the reason was because she was avoiding her husband because of her mother-in-law's compulsion. So how did she explain all that to Richard?
"Hm ... a lot. I have many reasons why I arrived in this city. One of them is because I need money. Finding a job there is very difficult. No company would accept a poor woman like me, under the pretext that I am not competent. because college is not at a bona fide university. The other thing ... because I have no experience." Ellena explained casually and of course she was lying.
Keep calm and write something....
