Chapter 255: Predicament

A contented glee appeared on Matcha’s mouth upon seeing Roly Poly’s submission. Matcha gave a dismissive wave of his hand and remarked, “Get lost. This is the last time I’m reminding you of your status here.”
Roly Poly instantly scrunched up his face the moment he turned his body around and muttered, “This stupid orange cat, you’ll learn your lesson when Zhao Yao dies ...”
Matcha sat comfortably on his massage thrones as his eyes swept from the living room to the bedroom, bedroom to the toilet and back to the kitchen before he finally nodded his head happily.
“An ordinary cat needs to physically walk around to inspect his territory. However, I, Matcha, am not an ordinary cat. I can inspect my territory with a simple visual inspection.”
Meanwhile, Hanako and Baiquan remained fast asleep since it was still the middle of the night.
However, the cats inside the apartment scampered over when the Sphynx Cat was brought over.
The Pallas’s cat, Lightning, ran over and started sniffing its body from head to toe. He stared curiously at it and asked, “What is this thing? Why is it so ugly?”
“This is a Sphynx cat. They are commonly known as the furless cat.” Zhao Yao continued by offering him an advice, “Do not come too close to it. This cat is extremely dangerous.”
Elizabeth let out a sigh at this sight, “Zhao Yao, why do you always bring stray cats back home? There’s already not enough space in your apartment.”
“I didn’t voluntarily bring this cat back. This cat attacked me in the first place.” Elizabeth noticed the red glimmer in Zhao Yao’s eyes. This meant that he was still controlling the Sphynx Cat.
Mango hobbled down from his bed and crept towards the Sphynx Cat with an innocent expression on his face. Somehow, he buried his entire body in the Sphynx Cat’s lower body and began rubbing himself against it. Zhao Yao had no idea what he was doing.
Zhao Yao immediately grabbed Mango by the back of his neck and retorted, “Mango! What are you doing? Stop it!”
“Furless?” Rice Cake threw a condescending glare at the Sphynx Cat and muttered, “What a shameless cat.”
Zhao Yao then went over to Elizabeth and gave her a gentle rub on the back of her head. Zhao Yao mustered his most police voice and asked, “Elizabeth, could you kindly get your family to lend me a helping hand? I need to erase this cat’s memory.”
Zhao Yao knew everything about the ragdolls’ power. The three of them could induce sleep, create dreams and wipe out memories. With this power, Zhao Yao could erase all the Sphynx Cat’s memories of its fight against Zhao Yao. That would also be Zhao Yao’s first step in educating the cat.
“No. None of them will even bother listening to me.”
A smile crept up Zhao Yao’s face as he sniggered, “Silly girl, but we can control them.”
Throughout this entire process, the Sphynx Cat could not even move an inch. However, it was still capable of feeling emotions. A wave of anger swept through it as it listened to Zhao Yao and Elizabeth’s conversation. Fury and fear poured out of its eyes as it tried with all its might to break free from this restraint. However, it was futile. It could never escape from Zhao Yao’s control.
However, Zhao Yao gave up on the idea of erasing its memory eventually. If he employed such a method to deceive the Sphynx Cat, it would simply give Muscle Society an opportunity to expose Zhao Yao’s actions. This would instantly become a time bomb. It would be a better idea to come up with a process to make the Sphynx Cat submit to Zhao Yao.
“However, I need to come up with something to temporarily restrain this cat. I can’t just put it under my control forever!”
Suddenly, a glimmer flashed across Zhao Yao’s eyes when he was deep in thought, “Oh yes, I can control gravity inside the extradimensional belly. I can just keep it inside. Neither can it hurt other cats nor can other cats hurt it.”
Hence, Zhao Yao instructed Elizabeth to control the Sphynx Cat while he crept to a neighboring construction site to steal some iron beams. With the help of his deflection field, he managed to construct an iron cage and absorbed it into his belly.
By pointing all his sword auras at the Sphynx Cat’s neck, Zhao Yao forced it to enter Dust Ball’s mouth on its own accord.
The Sphynx Cat could detect the ominous dark clouds gathering at its back as it roared, “You will regret this! It’s futile even if you managed to capture me. Among the apostles which I’ve bred, there are so many of them who are far stronger than me. You will be dead the moment they find you!”
Zhao Yao instantly gave the Sphynx Cat a slap on its face with Deflective Field. Zhao Yao shouted, “I didn’t expect you to be so cocky even after losing a fight! Just get the hell in! I’m telling you that it’s useless even if your apostles found their way here. I will just beat them to a pulp as a welcome gift.”
The Sphynx Cat could feel the razor-sharp sword aura pressing precariously against its neck. Any sudden movement would mean certain death. Given its current condition, it knew that it was in no position to fight. Hence, it gave in to Zhao Yao’s request and walked in helplessly.
...
A thunderous thud shattered the silence within the extradimensional belly as a heavy iron cage fell from the sky. This instantly captured the attention of all the supercats inside.
Ares and a few cats instantly scurried over to take a look at this mysterious cage. They surrounded the cage and began sniffing at it from top to bottom. A similar thought sprang up in all their heads, “A cage? What is a cage doing down here?”
Soon after, a soft crackling sound rang from the cage. What they saw caused their chest to tighten with fear. A furless cat was inside the cage.
Gaia shouted at the top of his voice, “Huh? Everyone, take a look! There’s a pig here!”
The commotion surrounding this cage instantly attracted all their attention. Hence, Fūjin, Lucifer, Ares, Gaia, Rakshasa, Caesar, Diana, Catherine, Lion Head, Airplane, Baozi, Sausage, and Uncle Egg immediately rushed over to take a look at what happened. All of their heads peered over one another to steal a glance at Sphynx Cat which was held within the cage.
The Sphynx Cat’s eyes squinted into a hard line as it thought, “There are so many supercats here? Are they all kept here after getting captured by that man?” However, it did not bother finding out more. It simply shut its eyes and began healing its injuries.
With its superb control over the muscles in its body, it could even will the torn muscles to seal on their own, hastening the recovery process.
Similarly, it could control its muscles and positioned them in a spot to support and immobilized its fractured bones. It was a makeshift plaster cast.
Furthermore, its vitality was far stronger than any ordinary cats. Hence, its recovery process was also far quicker than theirs.
Its only concern was food and water. However, it had thought about it already and assumed that Zhao Yao would not bother starving it since he had already decided to hold it captive.
Just when it had focused all its thoughts and energies on recovering its body, Zhao Yao had changed to Dust Ball’s power and altered the gravity affecting its body.
Bam! The stronger gravitation force instantly slammed its face against the cold hard ground. Its entire body started shaking like a leaf due to the effects of the enhanced gravitational force. It could hardly stand on its feet.
“Are you kidding? Why did my body ... when did it suddenly turn so heavy?”
Zhao Yao had increased the gravitational force affecting the Sphynx Cat by ten folds. Naturally, the toil it took on the body to maintain its regular respiratory process or even simply survive had exponentially increased. It could no longer participate in any strenuous activity. In that case, Zhao Yao no longer had to worry about the Sphynx Cat breaking free from the cage and injuring the other supercats.
Gaia pointed its finger at the Sphynx Cat and exclaimed, “All of you, take a look! There are so many wounds all over this pig! Did this pig just escape from a pig farm?”
Caesar who stood beside Gaia started scrutinizing its appearance and remarked, “This pig actually looks like a cat.”
Sphynx Cat was already infuriated by the effects of the new gravity. The cats’ constant blabbering only managed to fan his anger as his temples throbbed with rage. Finally, it had enough and shouted, “I’m a f*cking cat, not a f*cking pig. All of you, shut the f*ck up!”
The surrounding supercats had never expected this sudden outburst and were struck with fear.
Gaia simply shouted, “Hey guys, did you hear it? The pig has spoken!”
The Sphynx Cat’s face reddened with anger as it continued shouting, “I told you that I’m a god d*mn cat, a supercat. You are the stupid pig!”
Gaia did not believe a word it spoke and sniggered, “If you are a cat, explain why you are furless?”
“I’m a mother f*cking furless cat!”
